lean certification courses
lean manufacturing practitioner certification
5 days
Description: This customized training will be a one-week program which contains core lean methodologies such as Basics of Lean Principles with Simulation Exercises, Identifying Lean Tools for Manufacturing Industry, Process Mapping for Current and Future State, A3 Problem Solving Tools & Building Effective Teams, and Change Management for Lean Manufacturing .
What will be learned:
• Participants will gain a full understanding of the core lean methodologies. A Lean
Manufacturing Practitioner Certificate will be provided at completion of the course.
lean manufacturing master certification
5 days
Description: This customized training will be a one-week advanced program which covering Supply Chain Management with Simulation Exercises, Advanced Lean Tools for Manufacturing Industry, Facility Layout and Cell Analysis/Design, Material Handling for Lean and Level Inventories, and Lean Accounting & Lean Facility Assessment.
What will be learned:
• Participants will gain knowledge in supply chain, advanced lean tools, facility layout, material handling and lean efficiency tools in accounting and cell analysis. A Lean Manufacturing Master Certificate will be provided at completion of the course. *Lean Manufacturing Practitioner Certification is a pre-requisite to this course.
six sigma white belt certification

Description: Workshop that covers the basics of Six Sigma and how to apply them in the workplace environment with hands on training exercises. This cross-functional training session will allocate time at the end of training to capture ideas for specific process improvement opportunities and to plan for implementation.
What will be learned:
• With Lean Six Sigma White Belt course students will gain an overall understanding of Six Sigma. A Six Sigma White Belt Certificate will be provided at completion of the course.
six sigma yellow belt certification

Description: Workshop that provides a full understanding of Six Sigma and how to select appropriate projects while coaching green belts in the workplace environment. This cross-functional training session will allocate time at the end of training to capture ideas for specific process improvement opportunities and to plan for implementation.
What will be learned:
• With Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt course students will gain an overall understanding of Six Sigma and start implementing the tools on appropriate projects. A Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate will be provided at completion of the course.
six sigma green belt certification

Description: Workshop focuses on the DMAIC methodology and process knowledge.
What will be learned:
• With Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course students learn how to make data driven decisions by using the proven DMAIC methodology. Over 20 tools are taught to allow students to gain process knowledge. A Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate will be provided at completion of the course.
six sigma black belt certification

Description: Workshop that prepares you for the ASQ Certification and focuses on the DMAIC methodology and process knowledge in order to make business decisions. This program is a 3-4 month process with approximately two days of training every other week.
What will be learned:
• With Lean Six Sigma Black belt program students learn how to make data driven
decisions by using the proven DMAIC methodology. Over 30 tools are taught to allow students to gain process knowledge in order to make business decisions. A Six Sigma Black Certificate will be provided at completion of the course.

Description: The Business Continuity Assessment evaluates your company’s resiliency for a wide range of potential risks, covering all aspects of a manufacturing business, front to end.
What will be learned:
• Get a detailed report that provides a roadmap for creating a Business Continuity Plan to help ensure that your employees and facilities are protected, and the processes can continue despite an emergency or disaster so your company can continue operating and generating revenue.

Description: The Detailed Business Assessment evaluates your company and provides recommendations based on findings.
What will be learned: LCTCS MEP of LA conducts a work through of business with the client, understands current business impacts/needs based on Business Assessment completed with client and makes recommendations based on findings.
competitiveness review

Description: The Competitiveness Review© (CR) is a nationally recognized assessment tool that provides an on-site, systematic evaluation of a manufacturer’s business measuring operations and performance against globally competitive criteria.
What will be learned:
• The assessment reviews systems, not individual performance. At the start of our visit we will discuss and identify any individuals that we may need to speak with during our visit that day. If possible, please provide an electronic version of your business organization chart and site overview layout prior to our visit. After obtaining some basic information, we will wish to tour your manufacturing facility, follow the path taken by a typical order and possibly follow-up with a discussion with your leadership team.
